California Trippin'

For John's birthday we were in California visiting family, so John's family had a party for him.

The day after John's birthday we went to San Diego, to my dad's house. It was raining there, but we decided to go to the beach anyways....we are crazy people, but it was fun!

Then we were craving sushi... So we went to this little place, it was so good!

While John's family was here we took his brother to the park to play in the water.

Laughlin trip, Easter week

John's grandma, sister and brother visited for Easter weekend

We went to Laughlin, NV to John's grandma's house to drop off a few things...it was kind of a long trip and we had to keep stopping to make sure everything was tied down good enough. It was really windy and looked like the refrigerator was going to fly away! 

   

John and Alex fell asleep on the way back, both their mouths were open so I had to try to take a picture without them waking up, which is why it's so blurry!

Snow Canyon State Park

A few weeks ago John and I went on what ended up being a looooong hike. We didn't bring money with us to get into the park, because we didn't even think about it so we ended up parking outside the park and hiking to the trails from there which was about 3 miles. From the hiking entrance we decided to go off on a couple trails. All in all we ended up hiking about 10 miles round trip, but we got some pretty awesome photos from it, so here they are!

At the beginning of our journey we saw this little guy, I guess it's a caterpillar..there were a bunch of them in this little web.

I got my certificates from massage therapy school!!


Now all I have to do is take the NCETMB and I will be a licensed massage therapist!!

Sushi!! John always rolls them, he's getting better at it! We used our little Asian dishes that John got me for Christmas.

I made pumpkin pie for the first time..it was really good, i think i only took pictures of the prep, not the end result but anyway...

Lastly John and I had my mom over for dinner last week and we made chicken, rice and vegetables!
